Hoccer - App for Simple Data Sharing from ART+COM on Vimeo. The term "Hoccer" should be a combination of Ad-Hoc and Soccer. The application can share image/text/contact via ad-hoc wireless network, that means you can send pictures to your friend nearby using mobile devices no matter if you're in the same wifi network, because Hoccer turns your mobile device into an ad-hoc router so that your friends' device can find and connect even you're registered under different mobile ISP APN..... Other than Bump for iPhone, Hoccer is also capable for contact sharing, by finger dragging or a throw/catch gesture, you can share information with your friend in certain distance rather than sit together and bump your phones. Of course Hoccer offers privacy preference of choosing restrict device to share so that you won't carelessly "throw" your private contents into your perimeter publicity. Further more, they also build an LBS web application extending Hoccer sharing to desktop/laptop. One more cool thing, check this out, a Hoccer wall app, imagine one hundred or more people uploading live pictures onto a projector wall by flicking their mobile phone on a meetup, gathering or conference break. Hoccer is available on iTunes App Store and Android Market, and APK download on official site, go get it and start the happy throwing. Of course this is not a paid/sponsored review, I'm just too happy with this app, keep "throwing" photos with my wife's iPhone 4, my father's iPad 2, and even my daughter's iPod Touch, give it a try, you'll love it.
